I didn’t grow up knowing much about whiskey. But when I started learning, I wanted to understand what I was tasting—not just collect bottles.

As an engineer, I like solving problems. I noticed that the few whiskey apps out there helped me make lists of bottles I had, but they didn’t help me learn or improve my tastings. Online reviews were often long essays with fancy words that didn’t mean much to me. And there was no good way to know if I’d like a new whiskey without spending a lot of money on a full bottle.

So I built Whiskey Hub—a tool that helps you see flavors, track your tastings, and share the experience with friends.

With the Whiskey Wheel™, you can turn a complicated tasting into a simple picture that shows exactly what a whiskey tastes like.

When I drink whiskey with friends, we like to quiz each other—can you tell a Bourbon from a Rye? An Irish Whiskey from a Scotch? I brought that same game into Whiskey Hub. Now you can taste whiskey completely blind (something no other app does) and guess anything from the type and proof to the country or price.

In simple terms, I built the app I always wanted to use.
